J1 Room Quick Guide
Presentations
- Turn on display using remote
- Select HDMI Source 2
- Connect the HDMI cable from the display to your laptop
- Your laptop screen will now be duplicated on the rooms display
Meetings - Teams
- Turn on the display using the remote
- Turn on the PC (HDMI Source 1)
- Login with your Windows account
- Link the 2 Jabras together
- Place them side by side whilst plugged in
- Press the link button on one then wait a few seconds and press the link button on the other
Open Teams
Attend the meeting through Teams
Wireless Mouse & Keyboard
Both have switches to turn on & off. 0 is off 1 is on. Turn them off after use to preserve the battery.
Jabra Speakers
Both should be plugged into the computer via USB cables and act as both speaker and microphone. The devices need to be linked as described in “Basic Trouble Shooting” guide.
DO NOT unplug any of the equipment
DO NOT remove any equipment
Turn OFF the equipment after use
Basic Trouble Shooting
Problem - Mouse or Keyboard not working
Fix - Check they are turned on and have working batteries
Turn switch form off 0 to on 1
Once on does the power LED light up?
Problem - Sound coming from PC or display not Jabra speakers
Fix - Check the correct devices are selected in Teams
Open Teams
Click on the 3 dots in top right corner
Click on Settings
Click on Devices
Speaker - Select Jabra Speak
Microphone - Select Jabra Speak
Problem - Sound coming from one Jabra Speak
Fix - Link the two Jabras together
Plug in the Jabras into the USB extension cables
Place the Jabra devices next to each other.
Press the link button on one then wait a few seconds and press the link button on the other.

ou will get an audio confirmation once linked and the button will change to green.
